Ladies, meet the world’s first-ever PINK laser printer, DocuPrint P205 b, from Fuji Xerox. Perfect for Hello Kitty fans or pink-loving females everywhere, now there’s a laser printer just for you.

Created after numerous surveys and researches in the ever-increasing IT-savvy female market, especially with the growth in numbers of the fairer sex turning up at the quarterly computer & electronics trade shows in Singapore, Fuji Xerox decided to appease the ladies with the need for a laser printer to match their walls or furniture.

Touted as the “printers of the future”, this SLED printer allows for compactness without compromising on the reliability and print quality of the products.

Previously only available in high-end office machines, the 1,200 dpi resolution self-scanning light-emitting device (SLED) technology comes in the latest DocuPrint series that allows users to achieve higher printing speeds and lower cost of ownership.

As part of the initial launch campaign, Fuji Xerox will donate SGD $10 to The Star Shelter with every unit sale of the pink DocuPrint P 205b from 1st December 2010 till 28th February 2011. The Star Shelter is operated by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations (SCWO) and provides temporary refuge to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

Other printers in Fuji Xerox’s New DocuPrint series of SLED printers include the new DocuPrint monochrome printer series – DocuPrint P205 b retails for SGD $139 (quartz) and SGD $169 (pink), while the DocuPrint M205 b retails at SGD $229. The colour printer series – DocuPrint CP105 b, CP205, CP205 w and M205 b is retailing at SGD $329, SGD $429, SGD $459 and SGD $499 respectively. Available at all Fuji Xerox authorised resellers.
